Saurabh Kumar Singh is an experienced Software and Firmware Engineer with over 8 years of relevant experience. He has a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a degree in Information Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Currently, Saurabh works as a Software Engineer II at Dell, where he is a Scrum master for the Dell Update and Recovery team. He conducts daily scrum meetings, design, review, retrospective meetings for a multinational team, and creates work tickets for the team. He is also an Agile developer in SW & HW environment with hands-on experience in firmware and software development. Saurabh's roles include using UEFI principles and concepts to deliver the best Dell features on Dell Notebooks, developing Dell provided features on Dell platforms, collaborating with platform and validations teams, using platform debugging to narrow down the point of break and suggest appropriate fixes, and fixing security vulnerabilities in Dell development tools and libraries. Before joining Dell, Saurabh worked as a Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services and as an INTERN at CMC. At Tata Consultancy Services, he was part of the CTO's team, where his role involved the implementation and assessment of emerging technology and platforms. He was also part of the MobilityCoE team as a Native Android and Cross-platform Mobile App Developer, where he deployed responsive applications on Android & iOS for partners like GAIL India, PepsiCo & CDSL India. At CMC, Saurabh worked on a GPS Location-based project on the Android Platform, where he successfully tested the Fleet Tracking System prototype using mobile phones as vehicle-mounted units (VMUs). Saurabh's tech stack includes Software Engineer, Jenkins, Senior Software Engineer, Android, designer, Mobile, and iOS. He is a skilled engineer with hands-on experience in firmware and software development, and he is actively involved in documenting complex processes and release cycles to better serve his team.
